30/70 are the latest collective to emerge from the buzzing Jazz scene of Melbourne. The quintet is made up of Allysha Joy, Ziggy, Henry, Thomas and Jarrod that swells up to an 11 piece ensemble. With a Neo-Soul harmonies and Jazz-Funk licks sound their new single,‘Elevate’ was created closely with Paul Bender & Jamil Zacharia.
The single along with the album is bursting with elements of Afrobeat, Jazz-Funk, broken beat, Hip-Hop and hazy downtempo grooves. This is their second album, ‘Cold Radish Coma’ and it is set to elevate them to the international stage. Under the management of Wondercore Island, they are ready to take their message from Northcote to the world.
Truth & Rights
‘Truth & Rights’ is the new single taken from reggae artist Protoje, from his highly anticipated forthcoming album. Featuring the vocal of Mortimer, the single express their commitment to the activism that has always been at the core of reggae music. The single is yet another cross-over smash for the true champion of the reggae roots revival. ‘Truth & Rights’ follows the highly acclaimed and played ‘Bloodmoney’ which was released earlier this year.
Back in 2016 Protoje had a very successful year with his hit record ‘Who Knows’ which received 33 million hits and counting and became a top 10 most played record at Radio 1, landing at number six.
The latest EP from NY MC River Nelson follows the critically acclaimed album ‘How To Dream’. The EP ‘Navigation’ is about taking chances in life, discovering new grounds and finding new ways to make it through daily challenges. The three track EP has one incredible song ‘Glow’, a heart-warming story about a single father and his nine-year-old daughter who are trying to make it through hard times and seeing better days.
‘Navigation’ has been produced by UK’s MrSoulsFull (Navigation) & Giacomo Trivelli (from acclaimed hip-hop group Sam Sure & Giacomo). The EP comes ahead of his lengthy album due for release at the start of 2018.

Havana Meets Kingston
Combining the Reggae and Latin/Cuban flavoured talents of two iconic and distinctive musical islands in the Caribbean. Australian producer Mista Savona has brought together Sly and Robbie, Bongo Herman, ‘Bopee’ Anderson and Havana Cultura to name a few for this star-studded album.
This project will fire up a melting pot of traditional and contemporary Cuban and Jamaican music, and intends to explore and develop new styles and sounds as they bring some of the best musicians from both islands together for the first time in Havana.
