We’ve transformed our Mi-Soul studio with an extensive refurbishment. The new studio has been built to enhance our output with the top of the line equipment from our friends at Audio-Technica.
Designed for studio and broadcasting the ATH-M60x on-ear professional monitor headphones utilise the same proprietary 45 mm, large-aperture drivers, delivering clarity throughout an extended frequency range with accurate bass response. The on-ear design provides excellent sound isolation and a great fit.
We have also added AT4040 Cardioid Condenser Microphone, which features an advanced large diaphragm, explicitly tensioned to provide smooth, natural sonic characteristics. Designed as a multi-purpose performer, this externally polarised (DC bias) true condenser microphone offers exceptionally low noise, wide dynamic range and high SPL capability for most exceptional versatility. Its fast response to transients contributes to the open, transparent reproduction of even the most troublesome of instruments and sound effects.
Finally, we’ve put in AT-LP120-USBHC stereo turntable which features a high-torque direct-drive motor for quick start-ups and a USB output. With features such as forward and reverse play, pitch control and 33 1/3, 45 and 78 RPM speeds, it is a genuinely versatile turntable.
