This week’s One To Watch comes from south London ‘rebel’ musician JGrrey.

To celebrate JGrrey‘s highly anticipated second EP ‘Ugh’ that’s released this Friday, JGrrey draws focus ‘For Keeps’, her standout moment to date.

The 5 track project showcases her beautifully introspective songwriting and deft ability to move through genres from soul to RnB with production from the likes of Cadenza, Ed Thomas and Kadiata.

Lead single ‘For Keeps’ marks a retro sound that shows JGrreys dexterity and is a testament to her raw talent and loyal fan base that includes the likes of Jorja Smith, Billie Eilish and Peter Rosenberg.

After a busy summer that began with a headline set on the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury Festival and culminated with her supporting both Billie Eilish and Easy Life, JGrrey now prepares for her own 5 date UK tour with London already sold out.

Manchester, UK based record label SupaEarth Records let off their latest release – SUPA003 - ‘Extra High’. ‘Extra High’ is a collaboration between UK based DJ / Producer Ruff Diamond, Glitterbox Recordings signed artist TAZ, and the aspiring, and much-loved Berlin artist- Wanja Janeva. A serious funk heavy 120 BPM Disco track, the story behind this record is an interesting one. Earlier this year, TAZ was perched at the top of the Traxsource Chart feat alongside Inaya Day on the legendary Mousse T’s outstanding record ‘Rock The Mic’ (Glitterbox Recordings / Defected Records), a track that you now hear regularly played out everywhere. Combining with the talents of Wanja Janeva, the three came together and smashed out the track during an overnight session in a South London studio.
