This week’s One to Watch comes from young soul newcomer Fred Kingdom with ‘Velvet Drive’.
THE OTW | FRED KINGDOM
19 year old Fred studied jazz piano at the Royal Academy of Music and is a multi instrumentalist , performer , producer and singer . He spent much of last year playing live with his five piece band before debuting his first single ‘Medicine’ which was met with great acclaim .
On this , his latest single released on Nuco music , and from the forthcoming EP , Fred delivers a slice of soul which harks back to the golden age of R&B slow jams . Definitely a talent to watch and we’re excited to be playing this all week on our daytime shows .
