
Conesha Monét Owens has enjoyed a successful and international career , possessing an extraordinary 5-octave vocal range and a mastery of improv, dramatic acting, and choreography ; top industry producers like Walter Afanasieff and Phil Spector, Marcus Miller, Patrick Leonard, Steve Jordan and Dr. Dre have all been eager to collaborate with her over the years .
Performing on numerous stages whether in theatre productions or world-wide touring with some of today’s most respected artists such as Boz Scaggs and Michael McDonald, Queen Latifah . Raphael Saadiq and Dee Dee Bridgewater, collaborations with music greats Johnny Mathis and the “Prince of Sophisticated Soul” Will Downing , Ms. Monét continues to develop her skills thoroughly in every genre performing R&B, Rock, singing Jazz standards, Broadway favorites and Gospel hymns.

Ms.Monet has performed for former Presidents Joe Biden, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama at his historic Inaugural Ball and contributed her vocals on 2 Grammy Award winning projects, 1998’s “Song of the Year” “My Heart Will Go On”, recorded by Celine Dion, and 2016’s “Best Classical Engineered Record” “Ask Your Mama” .
Most recently Ms.Monet appeared on season 24 of NBC’s award winning show “The Voice”.
‘You’re gonna need me ‘ , originally written by Holland Dozier Holland for Dionne Warwick , is a special song to Ms.Monet .
She says: .“This song is personal. It’s about strength, self-worth, and finally walking away from what no longer serves you. Dionne sang it first—and beautifully. I just hope my version gives people the same kind of goosebumps and power she gave me.”
