Brief Bio: “Jasper The Vinyl Junkie”Started out in the biz in the 70’s with the “The Ace Of Clubs” sound system with 2 mates Winston Smith & Derek Turner (R.I.P), as young lads doing school and youth club gigs etc etc.. I moved into clubs as a DJ all over London and the south east, to many to mention with named and un-named DJ’s again, to many to mention. Got into Pirate Radio in the 80’s with LWR. Where..”The Vinyl Junkie Show was born” Then got into legal radio with Kiss FM, Choice Fm, did some shows on BBC 1Extra, and other various staions. Played at and promoted various warehouse gigs etc etc. Started with friends Tha Dump & The Hooch a club called the Funk’ Pussy in the Fish Club Oxford Street then later in the African Centre in Covent Garden which lasted over a decade. DJ’d all over the UK Ireland and various parts of the globe. Writer/Columnist at Soul Underground Black Echoes Music Magazine, Blues & Soul etc etc Released compilations on: Mastercuts Label, BBE Music, West End Records etc etc..
