Mi-Soul is moving to DAB+
From the 2nd of August 2021, Mi-Soul will be moving from DAB to DAB+, meaning you’ll be able to hear us in crystal clear stereo from that point onward! Here’s everything you need to know about our move to DAB+.
What is DAB+?
DAB+ is an upgraded version of DAB digital radio that will give you access to Mi-Soul in stereo, so we will sound even better.
Will I still be able to listen to Mi-Soul on my DAB radio?
If you have recently bought a DAB radio with the DAB+ feature, this should not affect your ability to hear Mi-Soul, as the majority of modern radios can receive DAB+ Happily therefore, you won’t have to re-tune your radio. If your DAB radio is an older version that does not have DAB+, you may have to replace it.
How do I find out if my current DAB radio has DAB+?
Your radio will likely be able to pick up DAB+ if it was purchased within the past 5 years. However, there are a few quick ways to check. The simplest way is to look for the Digital Radio Tick Mark on the radio or its packaging. All radios that bear that Tick Mark can receive FM, DAB and DAB+ stations. If the product does not have the Tick Mark, then read the product description carefully to see whether it specifies DAB+, or check with the manufacturer.
My radio doesn’t have DAB+, what can I do?
There are multiple ways you can continue to listen to Mi-Soul, through our website, mobile app, smart speaker and Mixcloud to name a few.

If after Monday the 2nd of August you can still find Mi-Soul on your radio but cannot hear us, this means you need to upgrade your current DAB radio or purchase a new DAB+ radio.
