This week’s One To Watch is ‘Love don’t come that easy’, the latest offering from Mi-Soul favourites SouLutions.

2024 marks the ten year anniversary of SouLutions music and this new single starts the year off in style. With a new album due in September and gigs confirmed in the UK as well as Europe, 2024 promises to be a spectacular extravaganza for lovers of modern soul music.

SouLutions are the writing team of Steve Lee and Louise Mehan . Steve and Louise have worked and performed together for over 20 years and began writing their own songs in 2007.

To simply say that SouLutions burst onto the UK soul scene in 2014 would not do justice to the time invested by them developing their songwriting skills to produce their distinctive SouLutions sound .

Overnight success is rarely sustainable, so in relaying the SouLutions story – those development years are as critical as the last ten years which have seen them release four exceptional albums : ‘Destiny’ , ‘Thankful’, ‘Fate’ and ‘Anthology’ together with a whole host of singles which have taken over the UK Soul Charts and deservedly earned them the title ‘darlings of the modern soul scene.

And what about that ‘sound’, well just close your eyes and imagine a beautiful house of music created from a ‘Philly’ foundation stone, lovingly cared for, crafted and brought into the modern era and topped off with the truly sublime vocals of Louise Mehan.
