soul box records

Special guest for November 4th is Levanna McLean – the sunny 21-year-old from Bristol is the face (and feet) of number-one-selling Northern Soul compilation Move On. She was spotted by record label Universal after the YouTube video of her dancing Wigan Casino-style to Pharrell Williams’s ‘Happy’ went viral. It has since had nearly two million views – at least one by Pharrell himself, who asked her to dance on stage at the 2014 Brit Awards.  For those looking to expand their horizons beyond the music, Old St Records will be open until 2am and a special ‘Soul Box’ bespoke cocktail menu featuring drinks such as the Sookie Sookie, Wang Dang Doodle, Licking Stick and Double O-Soul which will be available all night.
