Jodie Abacus is a protege of D’Influence legend Kwame Kwaten who has steered the career of Shola Ama, Rumer and more recently, Laura Mvula.

Jodie (Formerly known as Jason Jermaine) has been around for a minute but has his unique sound firmly placed in a lane all of his own.

Sharna Bass - 'In Love'

UK songstress Sharna Bass, originally from North West London, met hitmakers, Clean Bandit, when she was just 13 years old and went on to record their hit ‘Extraordinary’ a few years later in 2014. Since then Sharna dropped the killer single ‘Buss A 9’ from her seven-track EP ‘Beautiful Chaos’. The single we featured was her take on the original songstress Anita Baker’s – ‘Sweet Love’. Shana’s version called ‘In Love’ is delivered with total respect and making it her own with woozy modern day vocals.

Judi Jackson - 'Worth It'

Judi Jackson is set to be the next big star in jazz and as always Mi-Soul is ahead of the game. Judi has sung with and shared a stage with a myriad of world-class talents including Mavis Staples and last spring Jackson performed her original song ‘Only Love’ with Grammy Award-winning fusion band Snarky Puppy. Influenced by the likes of Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald. The accomplished singer and songwriter as has been described as possessing a tone and poise beyond her years at the age of 24.

London producer Joe Hertz has teamed up ( not for the first time) with London Soulster Kaleem Taylor for a smooth slice of UK Soul.

Caitlyn Scarlett - 'Ornaments'

Independent artist Caitlyn Scarlett has well over 7 million streams on Spotify alone and has landed on new music Friday playlists in the UK, US, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland and Japan. After signing a publishing deal with BMG in summer 2017 she has been in high demand for her writing. Roc Nation personally requested her to join the Rihanna writing camp that took place in London in 2016. During the camp, she wrote with the likes of DJ Dahi (Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean), Melo x (Beyoncé) and Levi Lennox (M.I.A, Krept & Konan, Zayn Malik).

Jvck James - 'On My Way'

East London born and bred 19-year-old Jvck James is already creating a buzz with his blend of tasteful soul music taking in influences from the 90’s greats such as D’Angelo & Lauren Hill whilst giving a nod to the likes of Khalid & Frank Ocean. Having already released ‘Extroverted Lovers’ and ‘Easy’, plus his stand-out live session for Berlin-based ‘COLORS’, he’s already pricked the ears of numerous tastemakers and fans. Having spent time working with a crop of talented producers including Scribz Riley and Di Genius, 169 (Dave).

Singer, songwriter and producer Ruby Francis has just dropped her new single ‘All of The Time’ from her brand new EP ‘To Be Fair’. Since Francis stepped on the scene she has been making a name for herself with singles such as ‘Move’, ‘On My Knees’ and ‘Traffic Lights’. Being influenced by the likes of Chaka Khan and Stevie Wonder, Francis has a soulful and sensual vibe which brings something new and fresh to the game, really putting her own stamp on her music.

Raye has teamed up with Maleek Berry and Nana Rogues on her new single ‘Confidence’. Her new EP ‘Side Tape features six tracks including Raye’s recent hit singles ‘Decline’ and ‘Cigarette’. London duo, Summer Club formed of upcoming producer Beau Lyons and rapper/actor Jordan Bolger just dropped their new single ‘Stay Ok’. This is an independent record featuring Imani.

Crawford has just signed to freestyle records, home to Omar and Carleen Anderson and is on her way to superstardom. The 22-year-old singer of Bajan, Welsh and English heritage just dropped her new single ‘Waiting Game’.

Louise Golbey - ‘A Good Life’

Golbey has shared the stage with artists like Katy B, Ed Sheeran and Jessie Ware amongst others and is no stranger to the music industry. This is a brand new single from her EP due out towards the end of this year.

Ricardo Williams Ft. Lioness 'He Ain't Me'

Born in Jamaica, raised in Hackney and now settled in Birmingham, he is destined for big things. Ricardo currently has an EP featuring the single and his previous single ‘come over’ scheduled for release later on in the year.

Ruff Diamond, Taz, Wanja Janeva - Extra High

Manchester, UK based record label SupaEarth Records let off their latest release – SUPA003 - ‘Extra High’. ‘Extra High’ is a collaboration between UK based DJ / Producer Ruff Diamond, Glitterbox Recordings signed artist TAZ, and the aspiring, and much-loved Berlin artist- Wanja Janeva. A serious funk heavy 120 BPM Disco track, the story behind this record is an interesting one. Earlier this year, TAZ was perched at the top of the Traxsource Chart feat alongside Inaya Day on the legendary Mousse T’s outstanding record ‘Rock The Mic’ (Glitterbox Recordings / Defected Records), a track that you now hear regularly played out everywhere. Combining with the talents of Wanja Janeva, the three came together and smashed out the track during an overnight session in a South London studio.
