We first heard the tuneful sounds of S.E.L as a backing singer for Soul II Soul and this year we were lucky enough to have her sing live with them and as a solo artist at The Margate Soul Festival. My hometownWhat Do You Do For A Living?I am an artist first and foremost, with three solo releases under my belt. I am also a songwriter for other artists and record labels, Vocal Arranger and Backing Vocalist. Im proud to say that I have also been a member of the Soul2Soul collective for about ten years now! I am a Music Degree graduate and Music Teaching Post Graduate, as well as classically trained in Piano and Violin, so I also enjoy doing University lecturing and one to one vocal tuition when I can. Her vocal ability, her capturing performances, choreography, writing… She consistently moves with the times, which is very important for an artist, in my opinion.Prince: The rebel. The educator. The instrumentalist. The songwriter. The lyricist. The producer. The performer. The character. I have been in love with him since I heard his voice for the first time. He was an advocate for creative artists getting to know the music business and maintaining control of all aspects of their creative process.
